- Brings over 15 years of deal-related work experience including working at Salomon Bros as a Financial Analyst in the Mergers & Acquistions Group, working as an Associate at Alpine Capital (boutique run by Oded Aboodi and the in-house Investment Bank for Time Warner, Inc.) and most recently as the Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Time Warner Cable.
- While at Salomon Bros, worked on merger and acquisition transactions in various industries including the sale of the NY Islanders hockey franchise, restructuring of Inter-Continental Hotels, sale of Paradise Island and a bond consent solicitation for Bally Manufacturing. Total transactions valued at $2.2 billion.
- While at Alpine Capital, worked on merger and acquisition transactions including Summit Communications, KBLCOM, Cablelvision Industries, Advance/Newhouse joint venture and the sale of a 51% interest in Six Flags Theme Parks. Total transactions valued at $9.0 billion.
- While at Time Warner Cable, co-founded a small entrepreneurial business unit within Time Warner Cable established to leverage the cable infrastructure to create new business opportunities.
- Created and implemented business plans used to build nine 24-hour local news channels, eighteen 24-hour local weather channels (thirteen in English and five in Spanish), nine news channel websites, one local sports channel, and a cable-exclusive WB network affiliate. Annual revenues have increased from $2 million to $60 million. Dotted line responsibility for more than 1,000 employees.
- Directed and responsible for $175 million capital investment of a large cable and telecommunication conglomerate.
- Negotiated real estate acquisitions and managed real estate development in Austin, TX, Houston, TX, San Antonio, TX, Albany, NY, Rochester, NY and Syracuse, NY NYC, NY, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Orlando, FL and Tampa Bay, FL with a total transaction value of $85 million.
- Negotiated acquisitions for software, technical equipment, programming rights, and intellectual property with a total transaction value of $90 million.
- Lead negotiator for Joint Venture transactions with Tribune and Belo Broadcasting.
- Worked on merger and acquisition transaction deals for large telecommunication and cable companies that totaled a transactional value of $9 billion.
