Description

PCE seeks a senior professional to join our ESOP investment banking group. We are experiencing a substantial increase in demand for our services, and this position is needed to assist new opportunities and existing clients. We pay a high fixed base salary (not a draw) and an annual bonus, and overall benefits are highly competitive within the financial industry.

Our investment bankers work in small, client-focused teams, regularly drawing on support from our colleagues within the entire investment banking group collectively devoted to helping PCE's clients achieve their financial and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing sell-side and buy-side ESOP transactions from prospecting to closing
  • Selling PCE's services to potential clients
  • Developing relationships to market PCE's services within the business community
  • Mentoring associates and analysts

The successful candidate will have opportunities to generate and execute deal flow and work on leads generated from PCE's marketing efforts. We find this structure provides the best results for our clients.

Requirements

We seek individuals with first-rate interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and entrepreneurial drive and spirit while providing excellent client service. Deal experience and contacts within a particular sector will be a plus.

Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a demonstrated understanding of business finance in a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience with ESOP transactions
  • Proficiency in the sale or acquisition of privately held companies using an ESOP ownership structure
  • Excellent quantitative, writing, and communication skills
  • Strong accounting or finance background
  • A Series 79 license is a plus, but we will sponsor the right candidate

You will have the option of working from any of our four office locations. Working remotely is an option for the right candidate.
