PCE Welcomes Steven Krug, CFA, PhD as Director in the Valuation Group

PCE is pleased to announce that Steven Krug, CFA, PhD has joined the firm as a Director in its Valuation Group. Steven brings extensive experience in business valuation and financial advisory, supporting clients across financial reporting, transaction advisory, tax and estate planning, ESOPs, and litigation support matters.

Steven has significant expertise in financial reporting valuations, including purchase price allocations (ASC 805), share-based compensation (ASC 718), and goodwill impairment testing (ASC 350). He works closely with management teams, auditors, and other professional advisors to deliver well-supported valuation analyses and conclusions.

Prior to joining PCE, Steven served for sixteen years as the business valuation practice leader for the Atlanta office of Grant Thornton, where he led valuation engagements for a broad range of public and private company clients. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President at Houlihan Lokey, performing valuations and fairness opinions for middle-market companies, particularly in the healthcare, technology, and government services sectors.

Steven is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds a PhD and MA in History from the University of Georgia, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
